My goal in the Teachers On Campus blog is to make teachers’ lives a little easier and provide helpful information. In order to do that, I want to connect at conferences this year to hear about current concerns and challenges.
What concerns you most about your job – both the day-to-day and education in general? I want to know what is actually happening in your districts, schools and classrooms and hear your solutions or ideas of how to streamline things to make it better.
If you are planning to attend a professional conference, I’d like to meet up and talk about these issues. As a teacher, I remember being frustrated about all the hoops I had to jump through, when what I really needed was more time working with students. Instead, all my time was taken up with other things. What is taking up your time?
I put together a quick questionnaire to see what conferences you plan to attend. Once I figure out where all of you will be, I can organize some social hours or meet ups where I can listen and learn more or I can provide some information that might be helpful. If you fill out my questionnaire, I’ll be sure to send you an invitation! Click here to get started.
